As the Human Resources Manager for Dangote Cement Transport, you will be a crucial part of our operations, responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources management within the transport division. The role demands a strategic thinker with practical HR experience, skilled in managing a large workforce effectively.

In this position, you will develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overarching goals of Dangote Cement Transport. You will collaborate with the management team to ensure compliance with labor laws, facilitate recruitment processes, enhance employee engagement, and implement training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies that reflect the operational objectives of Dangote Cement Transport.
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain skilled drivers and logistics personnel.
• Manage performance appraisal systems and career development plans.
• Address employee grievances, fostering a positive work environment.
• Coordinate training programs and maintain employee records.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
• Support management in developing staffing strategies to meet the operational needs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• A professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or similar) is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a transport or logistics environment preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HR systems and best practices related to recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
