Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our client’s HR department in Port Harcourt.
• The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day HR operations, recruitment activities, employee engagement, and maintaining HR records, while gaining hands-on experience in HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
• Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
• Assist in organizing training sessions and employee engagement activities
• Help prepare HR documents such as letters, memos, and reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations under supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (recent graduates or NYSC members encouraged to apply)
• 0-1 year experience in Human Resources
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic understanding of HR functions and Nigerian labor laws is an advantage
• Willingness to learn.
