Human Resource Officer at Somanda Consulting

Our client, a reputable restaurant situated in Ikoyi, Lagos is seeking to hire a Human Resource officer.

The requirements are as follows:

• Must hold a B.SC/HND in any field
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• HR experience in the hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
• Must possess a high level of computer literacy
• Must possess excellent oral and writing skills                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    The responsibilities include:
• recruiting, training and developing staff
• making sure that staff get paid correctly and on time
• looking after the health, safety and welfare of all employees
• organising staff training sessions and activities
• monitoring staff performance and attendance
• advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer's own employment policies and procedures
• ensuring candidates have the right to work at the organisation
• negotiating salaries, contracts, working conditions or redundancy packages with staff and representatives.
