    Human Resource Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Human Resource Officer to join our HR team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and legal requirements.
    • Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions.
    • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
    • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
    • Foster a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement initiatives.
    • Assist in developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
    • Provide HR support and advice to management and staff on various HR-related matters.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role.
    • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Excellent understanding of labor laws and regulations.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
    • Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
    • Candidate must be a resident of Ughelli & it’s environs or willing to commute for this role.

    Remuneration

    • Salary in line with industry standard.
