HSSE Officer at CGC Nigeria Limited (CGC)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• HSSE is responsible for the implementation of and maintaining the company's HSSE management system to ensure that all operations meet relevant laws and regulations and corporate policies. This role needs to cooperate with various departments to identify, evaluate and control the main responsibilities of potential health, safety, security, and environmental risks:
• Assist and update the HSSE policy, procedures and operating procedures.
• Perform regular HSSE audits and inspections to ensure internal and external requirements.
• Participate in the accident investigation, analyze the root causes, and propose improvement measures.
• Provide HSSE training and education to improve employees' safety awareness and skills.
• Monitoring and Report HSSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIS).
• Cooperate with external regulators and internal teams to ensure HSSE compliance.
• Manage and maintain HSSE files and records.
• Participate in the formulation and drill of emergency preparation and response plan.

SKILL REQUIREMENT

• Familiar with the HSSE management system, such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal communication ability.
• Being able to work independently and is also a good partner for teamwork.
• Powerful analysis and ability to solve problems.
• Skilled with Microsoft Office software and other HSSE management tools. (must)
• Language ability: fluent English and other languages, if applicable.
• Other requirements: can adapt to business trips and work in different environments.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• HND,Bsc or Above in Safety engineering or other related fields
