We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Officer to ensure a safe and healthy work environment while promoting a culture of environmental responsibility within our organization.
This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies, procedures, and programs to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Management: Identify and assess workplace hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
HSE Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and review HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Training and Awareness: Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees, and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental incidents, and implement corrective actions.
Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor HSE performance and report findings to management, including any deficiencies or weaknesses.
Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
Qualifications
Degree in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
Relevant certification such as ISPON level 3, NEBOSH etc.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in HSE roles.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and industry standards.
