As an HR Operations Specialist, you will support the HR Team by providing high-quality HR administrative assistance to the Nigeria office, while also covering international markets.
You will be involved in HR administration and coordination by documenting compliance with employment law, staff changes and employee relations.
In this role you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills in several HR areas and find joy in helping others by wearing multiple “hats” in a fast-paced environment.
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will:
Assist with day-to-day HR operations, supporting the business and HR functions;
Handle employee benefits in Nigeria and across our local and international locations, such as: mobile plans, leasing, commuting, health insurance;
Monitor and update company HR policies;
Address employee requests related to HR policies and processes;
Provide administrative support and update our internal databases;
Prepare HR reports or presentations related to employee activities or HR projects;
Communicate with public services when required;
Actively participate in the onboarding process for newly hired employees.
What you will bring
Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or equivalent preferably in HR Management, Legal, Organizational Psychology, or Internal Audit;
3 years of HR experience with Nigeria Labour Law, ideally in a fast-paced, start-up oriented environment;
Strong communicator in English with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all business contacts;
Excellent time-management and organizational skills; detail-oriented and efficient;
Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality;
Adherence to company policy and standards;
Team player with emotional intelligence and an optimistic yet respectful attitude.
