HR Manager at Global Profilers

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Group Head HR/Admin in designing and aligning the HR goal and strategy with that of the Organization
• Develop, advise and implement policies relating to effective and efficient workforce
• Work closely with all departments, ensuring an understanding of the organization’s mission, vision and objectives and its implication on various job roles and responsibilities
• Human resource planning, including advert placement, review of employment application, recruitment, reference and background checks
• Implement performance management policies and procedures
• Facilitate the implementation of all manpower development system; career management, performance appraisals
• Facilitate performance appraisal process ensuring appraisals are objective and conducted properly and timely
• Analyze appraisal results, drawing out conclusion recommendations and submitting report to Group Head HR and Admin
• Co-ordinate implementation of need-based, cost effective learning and development strategies to support the organization’s business goals and improve corporate performance
• Implement appropriate employee reward strategies, policies and program to enable the organization attract and retain the best talent
• Working with Departmental Heads, to develop strategies bothering on short and long term employee needs
• Maintain employee leave and other employee benefits administration
• Act as a bridge between the management and employee, by communicating relevant information both ways
• Handle and manage all employee related services such as insurance, health management scheme and other related activities
• Facilitate the proper maintenance of the offices premises
• Develop and maintain an inventory of the organization’s assets and keep adequate records in terms of disposal, movement verification, maintenance etc
• Ensure a reliable pool of suppliers of consumables and equipment and obtain optimum pricing and payment terms for the company
• Ensure all maintenance contracts are drawn up, signed and adhered to by all parties and that all office equipment are regularly maintained to achieve 0% downtime.
• Responsible for drawing up the Human Resources/Admin budget for each financial year and ensure its implementation
• Coordinate and organize events on behalf of the company

Educational Requirements

• First degree in a human resources management or relevant discipline.
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus
• Professional certification in Human resources is a plus
• At least six (6) years’ work experience in human resources management.
• Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
• Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
• Knowledge of relevant employment, labour, health and safety laws
• Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook
• Experience in coaching and educating staff
• Good communication and presentation skills.
