    HR Business Partner (Retail Sector)

    Job Summary

    • The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to retail business units, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
    • The role involves supporting store operations, driving employee engagement, and ensuring effective HR service delivery across retail outlets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with retail managers to implement HR strategies that support business goals
    • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for retail stores
    • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives across store locations
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies
    • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, performance) and provide actionable insights
    • Support learning and development initiatives for store staff and supervisors
    • Act as a change agent during organizational restructuring or process improvements

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in the retail sector
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
    • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple retail locations and stakeholders
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
