A candidate for Health Record Officer should possess a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health Information Management or Health Records and Biostatistics with a minimum grade of Second Class Lower Division, or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management with a minimum of Upper Credit. This role requires a minimum of Two (2) years of post-qualification experience, relevant professional registration (e.g., HRORBN), and completion of mandatory national service (NYSC). Computer literacy, particularly with health information systems, is essential. Certification in medical coding or data analysis would be an added advantage
