We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Head of Sales to spearhead and optimize our sales team.
This role plays a pivotal role in optimizing and managing a pipeline filled with qualified prospects, particularly targeting SME Employers and lenders.
Our ultimate aim is to convert these prospects into valuable, paying customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and setting and achieving sales targets.
You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers and representing the company at industry events and trade shows.
In addition to your experience and skills, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has great interpersonal skills, and is passionate about employing creative tactics to drive business results.
You should also be able to work independently and effectively lead a team.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 12 years experience in insurance sales.
Proven work experience driving B2B, B2C, channel sales, agency in Insurance sales
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
Experience with managing sales funnels and customer success.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.
Effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Creative capacity to develop and lead initiatives to improve sales processes.
Effective capacity to work and collaborate with cross functional teams.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to efficiently lead and manage multiple sales communications simultaneously.
