Facility Operative at Invent Alliance Limited

Invent Alliance Limited is seeking a reliable and hands-on Facility Operative to support the smooth operation of our facilities. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted utility services, safe premises, and the efficient functioning of essential equipment through routine monitoring, minor repairs, and shift-based operations.

About the Role

The Facility Operative will be responsible for operating and monitoring facility equipment such as pumps, generators, and treatment plants, while supporting routine maintenance and inspections.
The role involves shift work, basic reporting, and first-line response to minor electrical and plumbing issues, with escalation of major faults to technical teams or vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pumps, generators, and utility plants to ensure continuous and efficient service delivery.
• Track equipment performance, identify abnormalities, and promptly report faults or inefficiencies.
• Follow up on scheduled preventive maintenance and support corrective maintenance activities as required.
• Carry out minor electrical, carpentry and plumbing repairs within approved limits and safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and premises to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
• Maintain operational logs and submit incidence and inspection reports to management.
• Work on a rotating shift schedule, including early morning, night, and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• OND/Trade Test/Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
• Experience operating generators, pumps, or industrial equipment is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
• Ability to identify faults and follow maintenance procedures
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills
• Physically fit and able to work shifts
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Must reside within Ajah and Sangotedo environs.
