Role Description:

• This is a full-time, on-site Head of Sales and Marketing role based in Lagos.
• The Head of Sales and Marketing will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow audience reach, advertising revenue, and brand visibility.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading sales and marketing teams, setting performance targets, managing key advertising and partnership accounts, and monitoring market trends and audience insights.
• The role involves creating integrated campaigns, overseeing promotional activities, optimizing pricing and packages, and collaborating with programming and operations teams to align commercial initiatives with content. The successful candidate will also prepare regular performance reports and recommendations for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue growth and meet commercial targets.
• Candidates should possess solid Account Management and Analytical Skills to manage key clients and interpret data for decision-making.
• Candidates should possess proven Team Management skills to lead, coach, and motivate sales and marketing professionals.
• Candidates should have experience in marketing strategy, brand management, and campaign planning within media, entertainment, or related industries.
• Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in the Lagos market or similar urban entertainment environments is highly beneficial.
