Head of Finance and Account at HR-EX Consulting

Our client, a Manufacturing and Trading industry, is looking for a Head of Finance and Accounts to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will oversee all financial activities, ensuring the efficient use of company resources to achieve profitability while aligning with strategic business goals. This role involves supervising accounting operations, managing financial planning, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving key financial strategies. The successful candidate will have experience in financial leadership and will play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial health and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Leadership:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with the senior management team to drive corporate success.
• Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to guide executive decision-making

 Budgeting and Financial Planning:

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage budgets to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with strategic goals.
• Oversee cash flow planning to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.

 Investment Evaluation and Risk Management:

• Evaluate potential investments, providing recommendations to optimize returns.
• Advise on key business decisions, ensuring alignment with long-term financial goals.
• Implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s financial position.

Accounting and Compliance Supervision:

• Supervise all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other regulatory financial obligations.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including Management Accounts and Board Reports.

Cost Management and Profitability:

• Monitor and evaluate revenue and cost centers to maximize operational efficiency.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives to enhance profitability and streamline expenses.

Regulatory and Tax Compliance:

• Ensure timely compliance with tax and other regulatory financial requirements.
• Manage external audits and maintain confidentiality of financial records.

Key Requirements

• Education: BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA/ACCA certification required; MSc/MBA or additional relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance role, with a proven track record of managing financial operations.

Skills:

• Expertise in cash flow management, financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of standard accounting software and data analysis.
