    Group Finance Director

    Job Brief

    • Working under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Group Finance Director (FD) is responsible for the overall accounting, finance, treasury and regulatory functions with Intelligra
    • The FD is to develop the Finance Organization to support Intelligra’s strategic, operational and investment activities
    • The FD will represent Intelligra as assigned with the Board, Banking Partners, Telco Partners, Potential Investors and other strategic partners.

    Responsibilities
    Operational and Strategic Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development of Intelligra’s 5-Year Strategic Plan under the direction of the Group CEO. Ensure rolling update of the plan at agreed intervals
    • Lead the development of Annual Budget based on the 5-Year Plan key financial and operating targets for each year.
    • Ensure monthly reforecast of the annual budget based on actual monthly performance and revised assumptions that reflects current trends and new data points
    • Ensure a prompt upgrade or deployment of new accounting system, consistent with Intellogra’s operational footprint and strategic direction
    • Ensure timely monthly close of financial and management reporting as well as timely production and distribution of the reports to key stakeholders
    • Ensure timely preparation and distribution of monthly board materials
    • Support Intelligra’s operating entities by providing required financial advise, approved resources and tools including daily, weekly and monthly reports needed for successful management of the business
    • Ensure smooth, timely and effective reconciliation and settlement with Intelligra’s key partners, especially Telcos, Banks, Retailers, Distributors and major service providers
    • Support the Group CEO in investment related activities especially in terms of raising funds and managing key obligations
    • Oversee treasury management, ensuring proper planning for Intelligra’s cash flow needs and proposing sources of funds to the Group CEO for approval and joint execution
    • Manage relationship with external auditors.

    Management and Administration:

    • Overall responsibility for the management of Intelligra’s Finance Team across all Operating Entities and the Group
    • Develop and scale an organizational chart for the Finance Function, building on existing resources where possible
    • Secure approval for the proposed Finance organization charts across Operating Entities and Group
    • Work with HR in ensuring timely staffing of key open roles
    • Ensure that Intelligra’s activities are being implemented according to local laws and regulations.

    Requirements and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Leadership, or relevant discipline. Master’s degree is preferred. A post-graduate Degree is an added advantage
    • Professional Certification in Accounting or Finance, a requirement
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant leadership/management experience in start-ups or mid-size fast growing companies
    • Experience working in multiple countries an advantage
    • Knowledge of financial management and internal controls in a telco companies
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, is a must (will be tested)
    • Experience in establishing strong collaborative networks to achieve greater impact
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Energetic, self-starter and ability to undertake any tasks without intensive supervision.
    • Highly organized, efficient, and responsive
    • Good planning and report writing skills
    • Proficient computer literacy skills (Word, Excel, and Power point).
