Graphics Designer at Talents and Skills Africa

Our Client, an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Company based in Lagos Nigeria who engage in the importation, distribution and support services of ICT is seeking to employ an Experienced Graphics Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
•  Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
•  Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

REQUIREMENTS;

• 3 - 4 years proven experience as a Graphics Designer with proofs
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
•  Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
•  Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Presentation and good Marketing Skills
• Advance knowledge on Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator & In design
• Understanding of customer relationship management and satisfaction
• Tech Savvy and an advance knowledge of print Design
• Good Administrative skills
• A content writer and creator
• Computer Literate (Proficient in Microsoft office suites especially PowerPoint)
• Advance Knowledge of Photography
• Knowledge of web Design
• Research & Development
• Knowledge of Cooperate Branding

Qualification

• BA/MSC in Information Technology/ Computer Science, Fine Art or related field is a plus.
• Must have previous similar experience a minimum of 3 – 4 years
