Government / Civic / Commerce Teacher at Sunphils Leadership Academy

Job Description

• Teach government and civics-related subjects to secondary school students.
• Deliver engaging lectures, lead classroom discussions, and use various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Create and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding of government concepts. This includes quizzes, tests, essays, and projects. Provide timely feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Work with colleagues, school administrators, and other staff to support student learning and address any issues that may arise. This may include attending staff meetings and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects.
• Develop strategies to engage students in learning about government and civics, including using current events and real-world examples to make the subject matter relevant and interesting.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a BEd / NCE with 1 - 4 years experience.
