    Job Description

    • Teach music theory, history, and performance skills to secondary school students.
    • Conduct classes in vocal and instrumental music, depending on the focus of the program.
    • Use diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
    • Prepare students for performances, including school concerts, competitions, and community events. Oversee rehearsals, coordinate with accompanists or ensembles, and ensure students are ready for public presentations.
    • Evaluate students' musical skills and progress through assignments, performances, and exams.
    • Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their abilities and achieve their musical goals.
    • Lead or support extracurricular music programs such as school bands, choirs, orchestras, or musical theater productions.
    • Encourage student participation and foster a love of music outside of regular class hours.
