Job Description

• We are currently seeking a skilled Geophysicist who will play a crucial role in our marine survey projects.
• As a Geophysicist, you will be responsible for interpreting and analyzing geophysical data collected during our marine surveys.
• You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team, including surveyors, engineers, and project managers, to provide accurate and comprehensive geophysical assessments.
• Your work will contribute directly to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Process, analyze, and interpret geophysical data collected during marine surveys.
• Utilize industry-standard software and tools to generate detailed reports and maps.
• Conduct geophysical modeling and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Assist in planning and executing marine survey operations, including data acquisition and processing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in geophysical techniques and technologies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to support business development activities.

Location:

• The position is based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Occasional travel to project sites may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Geophysics or a related field.
• Proven experience in marine geophysical data analysis and interpretation.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools for geophysical analysis.
• Strong understanding of geophysical modeling techniques and their application.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry is a plus.
