General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) at Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS)

Role Overview:

• As GM/COO, you’ll provide strategic leadership to drive the Academy’s operational efficiency, innovation, and market impact. You’ll oversee program development, business growth, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring world-class standards in professional education for the financial sector.

Key Focus Areas:

• Develop and implement the Academy’s strategic vision and operational framework.
• Lead the design of professional training programs across securities, fintech, asset management, insurance, etc.
• Drive innovation in e-learning and digital education solutions.
• Expand the Academy’s market reach through partnerships and executive education.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and impact reporting.

Who We’re Looking For:

• 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership within financial services, education, or capital markets.
• Strong background in training, certification programs, and professional development.
• Proven business development and revenue generation capability.
• Knowledge of capital markets, fintech, and financial education trends.
• Master’s in Finance, Business, Economics, Education (PhD is a plus).
• Professional certifications such as FCS, CFA, ACCA, ICAN, CISI are highly desirable.
