Further Mathematics Teacher at Spring of Life and Fountain of Wisdom Schools

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver rigorous Further Mathematics lessons in line with national curriculum standards and the school’s academic objectives.
• Foster a positive, challenging, and inquiry-driven learning environment that promotes mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Teach core Further Mathematics topics such as Complex Numbers, Matrices and Determinants, Vectors, Calculus, Differential Equations, and Advanced Algebra.
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and international exams (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level) by ensuring curriculum alignment and adequate practice.
• Implement varied instructional strategies including collaborative learning, technology integration, real-world applications, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support academic growth through extra tutorials or revision classes.
• Encourage analytical thinking by guiding students through mathematical investigations, modeling, and explorative assignments.

Requirements:

• A practicing Christian with a deep commitment to Christian values and principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Further Mathematics at the senior secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of advanced mathematical concepts, including Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Complex Numbers.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to develop a love for Mathematics and advanced problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports academic excellence and intellectual curiosity.
• Proficiency in using technology, and digital tools to enhance instruction and student understanding.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current trends in Mathematics education.
