Front Desk Officer (Nails and Beauty Studio) at Service Arts and Hospitality Academy (SAHA Africa)

Job Summary:

• We seek a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Officer to be the first point of contact at our nail and beauty studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming clients, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring a smooth front-desk operation that enhances the client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcome
• Manage appointment bookings and schedule updates (in person, via phone, or online)
• Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and provide information about services
• Handle check-ins, payments, and receipts
• Maintain a clean and presentable reception area
• Coordinate with beauty technicians to manage client flow efficiently
• Assist with basic administrative tasks and inventory monitoring
• Promote products and services when appropriate

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role (experience in a beauty or wellness setting is a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-groomed and professional appearance
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with appointment scheduling software or POS systems
• Friendly, approachable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
