Job Description

• The Financial Planning Associate supports the financial planning and analysis function by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• This role helps provide accurate financial data and insights that enable informed decision-making and effective business performance review. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts. 
• Collect, analyze, and reconcile financial data from various sources to support decision making.  
• Prepare variance analyses comparing actuals to budgets and forecasts and highlight key insights. 
• Support the maintenance and updating of financial models to aid scenario planning. 
• Generate regular financial reports and dashboards for management review. 
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial and operational data. 
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by providing relevant analysis. 
• Assist in ad hoc financial analysis projects as required by the FP&A Manager. 
• Maintain documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by your line Manager.  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred. 
• Professional qualification (ACCA, ICAN) in progress. 
• 2-3 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting roles preferred. 
• Basic understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
