    Business Development Executive

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in an Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Financial Services company.
    • Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the regulatory environment in Nigeria.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business Development & Sales

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase AUM.
    • Develop and execute strategies to attract high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporates, institutions, and retail investors.
    • Promote mutual funds, portfolio management services, and other investment products in line with SEC guidelines.
    • Prepare and deliver sales pitches, proposals, and investment presentations to prospective clients.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing regular updates on portfolio performance.
    • Understand clients’ financial goals and recommend appropriate investment solutions.
    • Provide after-sales service and handle client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

    Market & Research

    • Monitor financial market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the asset management industry.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and distribution channels.
    • Provide insights to support product development and marketing strategies.

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Ensure all marketing and business development activities comply with SEC regulations and internal policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of business leads, sales activities, and client interactions.
    • Prepare periodic business development reports for management review.
