Field Auditor at Entourage Integrated Trust Limited

ENTOURAGE INTEGRATED TRUST LIMITED is looking for an objective FIELD AUDITOR in LAGOS STATE who is open to working anywhere in Nigeria to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and sound judgment.

Responsibilities 

• Prepare and present reports that reflect the audit's results and document the process
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures
• Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
• Document the process and prepare an audit findings memorandum
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions
• Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards
• Keep a check on processes and regulations
• Ensuring staff compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Travel to different states for auditory reviews and assessments.
• Provide a qualitative and quantitative evaluation based on empirical data findings.
• Providing solutions to the company's internal problems 

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as an auditor in a microfinance or lending company 
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
• Close attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Sound independent judgement
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• A strong aptitude for math.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• A keen interest in the financial system.
• Ability to work to deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation and report-writing skills.
• HND/BSc degree in accounting, banking & finance, or a related field
