Finance Officer at Jubilee Life Mortgage Bank

• Ensure that an accurate schedule of the Bank\'s Receivables is in place.
• Preparation and rendition of CBN returns.
• Timely rendition of withholding Tax to relevant tax Authority in approved format.
• Daily posting of project related transaction
• Branch Income, overhead and Head Office apportionment
• Monthly reconciliation and proof of all assigned general ledgers.
• Weekly analysis of the bank’s stock portfolio.
• Proper Filing, retrieval and archiving all documents, tickets, files, etc.
• Call over and submission of daily transaction for Audit review.
• Accurate Posting of all Transactions into appropriate GL Accounts. 
• Prompt retirement of cash advance and IDS which must be nil off daily.
• Processing of PAYE electronic card for staff, Tax ID generation and Income Tax clearance certificate.
• Operate and ensure accuracy andcompleteness of all entries.
• Prepare segment-baseddeposit report upon request.
• Daily Bank reconciliation and submission of reconciliation report.
• Carry out analytical review of financial reports.
• Collaborative participation in month-end financial reporting activities such as provisions preparation.
• Update and maintain Fixed Asset Register.
• Participate in the implementation of audit work plans and liaise with external auditors in providing audit requirements foryearend audit.
• Review andanalyze cost, expenses and budget control.
• Review and evaluate the accounting treatment of transactions by business units for the purpose of advising on best practices.
• Other functions as designated by the Head of Department.

Minimum Education

First degree in any discipline.

• Candidate must have ACA or ACCA.
•  A post graduate degree is an added advantage.
