    Finance Manager

    About the Job

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.

    Key Responsibilities
    Financial Management

    • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
    • Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and financial plans.
    • Analyse variances between actual and budgeted expenditures and provide actionable insights.

    Cash Flow Management:

    • Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
    • Reconcile bank statements and manage financial transactions effectively.

    Model New Revenue Streams:

    • Develops credit assessment and scoring models.
    • Defines loan approval criteria and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor portfolio health and loan defaults.
    • Tracks loan disbursements, repayments, and financial performance.
    • Ensures compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
    • Prepare financial statements for investors or funding partners.

    Compliance and Auditing:

    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
    • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
    • Coordinate with external partners, such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities, when required.

    Collaboration with HR:

    • Work closely with the HR Officer to manage PAYE remittance, pension contributions, and monthly employee salary payments.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
    • 7+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or financial management.
    • Proficiency in accounting software like Zoho Books and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
    • Solid understanding of financial principles, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a tight-knit team.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • High adaptability and eagerness to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • Chartered qualification from a reputable body.
