Role Summary

At HOM, we believe sound quality is non-negotiable. The Audio & Technical Engineer ensures our message is heard with crystal clarity while maintaining the technical stability of our entire digital infrastructure. Beyond the mixing board, you will serve as a deputy for daily operations and a vital support to the video production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Audio Engineering: Manage all sound recording and live mixing for studio sessions and services.
• Technical Setup: Configure microphones, audio interfaces, and digital/analog mixers for optimum output.
• IT & Connectivity: Act as the first line of defense for IT support, ensuring internet and streaming stability.
• Acoustic Management: Maintain soundproofing, studio acoustics, and all specialized audio equipment.
• Operational Support: Serve as the deputy to the Media Lead, assisting with scheduling and technical planning.
• Streaming Collaboration: Work side-by-side with the Multimedia Producer to troubleshoot live broadcast issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Sound Science: Expert knowledge of sound engineering, mixing, and signal flow.
• Networking: Strong understanding of IT/networking to ensure seamless digital transmissions.
• Studio Hardware: Hands-on experience with various mixers, interfaces, and microphone types.
• The "Plus" Factor: A strong interest in videography and livestreaming workflows, with a desire to assist on the visual side of production.
• Temperament: Remains calm and focused under the high-pressure environment of live broadcasts.
