Job Summary

• The Finance and Investment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, investment strategies, and portfolio management of the company. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, risk assessment, and investment opportunities within the fintech industry. 
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the company's financial health and sustainable growth through effective financial management and strategic investments.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategy:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives.
• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
• Implement financial risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets.

Investment & Portfolio Management:

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in line with the company’s growth strategy.
• Oversee the management of investment portfolios, ensuring optimal returns and risk mitigation.
• Conduct financial modeling and analysis to assess potential investment ventures.
• Monitor market trends and economic conditions to guide investment decisions.

Capital Management & Fundraising:

• Assist in capital raising efforts, including venture capital, private equity, and debt financing.
• Maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
• Optimize capital allocation to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
• Analyze funding structures and recommend financial instruments for company expansion.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Develop and implement internal financial controls to mitigate risks.
• Work closely with auditors, legal advisors, and compliance teams to ensure financial integrity.
• Establish frameworks for assessing and managing financial and investment risks.

Leadership & Team Collaboration:

• Lead and develop the finance and investment team to drive operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in financial processes.
• Communicate financial insights and strategies to stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in finance, investment management, or financial strategy roles.
• Strong knowledge of fintech business models, digital payments, and investment strategies.
• Expertise in financial modeling, portfolio management, and risk assessment.
• Proven experience in capital raising, investor relations, and market analysis.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and fintech investment tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in a fintech company, digital banking, or investment firm.
• Strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and regulatory agencies.
• Track record of successfully managing investment portfolios and financial planning.
