    Field Agent

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking energetic, passionate, results-driven, and persuasive field agents to drive customer acquisition and retention for our e-commerce platform.
    • Your primary responsibility will be to encourage people to download and sign up on the app/website, guiding them through onboarding, educating them on how to use it, and following up regularly to ensure timely payments.
    • You’ll play a critical role in building trust, increasing adoption, and supporting customers throughout their shopping journey.

    Key Responsibilities
    Customer Acquisition:

    • Actively engage potential customers in local communities, markets, residential areas, offices, churches, etc.
    • Encourage them to download and sign up on the app.
    • Guide users through the onboarding process and explain benefits clearly.

    Customer Education:

    • Explain how the instalment payment system works.
    • Highlight benefits such as price protection, ease of payment, protection against inflation and product availability.
    • Answer questions and provide basic support during onboarding.

    Follow-Up and Payment Monitoring:

    • Maintain a list of registered customers and their payment schedules.
    • Remind customers of upcoming or overdue instalment payments.
    • Assist customers with payment challenges.

    Relationship Building:

    • Build trust and long-term relationships with customers.
    • Act as a liaison between the company and customers to address or escalate issues.

    Reporting & Feedback:

    • Provide daily/weekly reports on sign-ups, follow-ups, and customer feedback.
    • Share field insights to improve product offerings and customer experience.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of NCE/OND (higher qualifications are an advantage).
    • 2–4 years’ experience in sales, field marketing, or customer service.

    Sales or Marketing Experience (Strongly Preferred):

    • Candidates with backgrounds in FMCG or fintech agent roles, door-to-door marketing (such as telecoms, solar, or insurance), field activations, or product sampling will have a strong advantage.
    • Bonus if you have previously worked with sales targets or commissions and are motivated by achieving numbers.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Confidence in engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
    • Tech-savvy; must own a smartphone and be comfortable using mobile apps.
    • Highly self-motivated and results-driven.
    • Fluency in English and local languages.
