    A fast-growing supermarket in Lagos, with multiple branches across the state, is seeking to recruit a proactive and highly driven Business Developer to manage and grow our online sales operations. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in e-commerce, customer engagement, order fulfilment, and digital product visibility.

    Requirements:

    Relevant E-Commerce Experience:

    • Candidates must have hands-on experience working with reputable e-commerce or online retail companies in Nigeria. Prior engagement with organizations such as Jumia, Konga, Jiji, Paystack, Flutterwave, or other well-known digital service platforms will be a strong advantage.

    Business & Sales Expertise:

    • Proven experience in business development, e-commerce operations, online sales, or digital marketing within a retail or FMCG environment is required.

    Order & Customer Management:

    • Demonstrated ability to manage online customer orders, oversee timely fulfilment, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Digital Collaboration:

    • Ability to work closely with the Content Creator to increase website traffic and improve product visibility across all digital channels.

    Online Merchandising Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of product listing processes, online merchandising techniques, and customer conversion strategies.

    Communication & Organizational Skills:

    • Excellent communication, multitasking, and time-management abilities.

    Technical Competence:

    • Basic understanding of CRM systems, social media platforms, and online sales tools will be an added advantage.

    Educational Qualification:

    • Minimum of a B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or any related field.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and process online customer orders promptly, ensuring quick fulfilment and seamless service delivery.
    • Work closely with the Content Creator to develop and implement strategies that drive traffic to the website and online platforms.
    • Ensure that all products are properly listed, regularly updated, and visible across digital channels.
    • Monitor online customer behaviour and sales trends to improve engagement and conversion.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely feedback and follow-up.
    • Identify opportunities to grow online sales and expand the supermarket’s digital presence.
    • Prepare and submit periodic reports on online sales performance, customer orders, and digital growth metrics.
    • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, service standards, and operational procedures.
