Family Assistant at Duke & Bobmanuel LLP

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Assistant to join our household in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in household management and childcare, ensuring the smooth running of our home and the well-being of our family.

Responsibilities:

Household Management:

• Tidying up, cleaning, and laundry for children areas, clothes and items.
• Making doctors' appointments, refilling prescriptions, and managing the inventory of food, medicines/vitamins, and household items.

Childcare:

• Giving vitamins and medication to children as per schedule.
• Preparing nutritious menus for children.
• Assisting with bathing and grooming children.
• Helping with homework and engaging children in educational activities.
• Getting children ready for bed and ensuring a peaceful sleep routine.
• Accompanying the family on travels and providing support as needed. (Travel arrangements will be handled by the family.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a child-related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Child Development).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in childcare.
• Proficiency in English and Yoruba; French language skills are desired.
• Ability to work from 7am to 8pm, with flexibility to assist overnight when required.
• Christian candidates preferred, aligned with the values of our family.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Valid driver's license (preferred but not required).
