    Facility Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and improvement of buildings, infrastructure, and facilities.
    • This includes ensuring a safe, functional, and cost-effective environment for employees, visitors, and tenants.
    • The role involves managing facility-related projects, vendor relationships, budgets, and compliance with regulations.

    Key Responsibilities
    Maintenance and Operations:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance.
    • Ensure all equipment, utilities, and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are in optimal working condition.
    • Coordinate and supervise maintenance personnel and contractors.

    Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure the facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and address them promptly.
    • Maintain safety and emergency response plans.

    Vendor and Contract Management:

    • Select and manage third-party service providers for maintenance, security, and other facility-related services.
    • Negotiate and oversee contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of service.

    Budgeting and Financial Management:

    • Prepare and manage the facility’s budget, including forecasting expenses and monitoring costs.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement energy-efficient measures.

    Project Management:

    • Lead facility improvement projects, including renovations, expansions, and relocations.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 2 - 5 years work experience.
