    Experienced Solar Sales Manager

    Job Objective

    • To promote the organisation’s solar buy now pay later service, pre-qualify prospects by conducting initial load audit, collaborate with engineers to prepare proposals, and manage customers post installation to ensure satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities
    The Job responsibilities include without limitation, the following:

    • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate client’s needs
    • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
    • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
    • Visit the client’s site to conduct initial load audit and advise whether or not solar is the right solution
    • Assign an engineer to conduct initial load audit to conduct load audit
    • Collaborate with the engineer to prepare a proposal for the prospect
    • Present the proposal to the prospect and address any objections
    • Collaborate with the engineer and operations officer to arrange installation for the client
    • Maintain relationship with the customer and frequently keep up with them to ensure that the solar system is performing well
    • Communicate with the engineer to help customers on warranty and maintenance claims
    • Provide weekly reports to the CEO

    Key Job Requirements

    • Minimum 2:1 Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics or a similar course
    • Master’s degree in a business related course will be highly advantageous
    • Certifications in sales or marketing will be highly advantageous
    • Minimum 5 years working experience in sales of solar components for 1kVa and above installations
    • Deep knowledge of solar components, especially panels, batteries, inverters and charge controllers is essential
    • Deep knowledge of solar load sizing is essential
    • Ability to use microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint is essential
    • Business writing skills is essential
    • Excellent communication skills is essential
    • Ability to follow set policies and processes diligently is essential
    • A strong passion for sales and/or marketing is essential
    • Ability to work within a team is essential.
