Responsibilities
Project Implementation and Resource Management: implement livelihood projects in line with organizational goals and community needs. Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring timely and effective delivery of activities. Prepare regular reports on project status, challenges, and achievements. Manage project resources, including budget, materials, and personnel. Monitor efficient and transparent use of resources in accordance with organizational policies.
Community Engagement and Capacity Building: conduct community assessments to identify livelihood needs and opportunities. Facilitate training sessions and workshops for beneficiaries on various livelihood skills. Collaborate with local partners and government agencies to enhance community participation and ownership.
Coordination and Collaboration: coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to integrate livelihood activities into broader development initiatives.
Participate in meetings and forums related to livelihood, economic development, climate change and environmental management.
Perform any other general administrative duties assigned by the managers.
Qualifications
Education
High School diploma with five years of related experience or,
Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Climate Studies, Natural Resource Management, or a related field with three years of related experience
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in livelihood programming or community development.
Strong understanding of livelihood strategies and economic development principles
Skills
Good, communication, reporting and negotiation skills;
