    Operations Officer

    Responsiblities

    • Oversee the daily operation of power generation equipment
    • Monitor system parameters, performance indicators, and control room dashboards.
    • Ensure optimal power generation output in line with demand and operational targets.
    • Identify and report equipment abnormalities, alarms, and operational deviations.
    • Work with maintenance engineers to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.
    • Provide operational data to help troubleshoot faults.
    • Ensure equipment is safely isolated and tagged for maintenance activities.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
    • Document power output, fuel consumption, equipment performance, and outages.
    • Update plant logbook and shift handover notes.

    Qualification Requirements

    • B.Sc/HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field discipline.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
