    Social Protection & Livelihood Programme Manager

    • The Social Protection & Livelihood Programme Manager will oversee the operationalization of project cycles, ensuring timely, high-quality, and compliant execution of activities according to SI, national, and donor standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategy & Design: Contribute to multi-year strategy, sectoral strategy, project design, needs assessments, and innovative approaches.
    • Implementation & Monitoring: Oversee project execution, ensure cross-cutting themes integration, monitor performance, and conduct field visits.
    • Reporting & Representation: Submit reports, liaise with stakeholders, and represent SI at relevant meetings.
    • Capitalization & Closure: Document and archive programme activities, facilitate smooth programme handover.
    • Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate team members.
    • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to internal policies, mitigate protection and environmental risks, and uphold SI’s ethical standards.
    • Partnerships: Coordinate with consortium partners and support partner capacity building.

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Social Work, Rural Development, or related fields.
    • 3–4 years of relevant INGO experience in similar positions.
    • Knowledge of social protection networks, household economies, and income-generating activities in Nigeria.
    • Familiarity with Kebbi State context, local governance, climate-smart technologies, and regenerative business practices.
    • Experience managing multi-stakeholder partnerships (private sector, government, communities).
    • Proficiency in market systems development, food fortification, and IT tools (MS Office, Kobo, GIS software).
    • Fluency in English and Hausa.
