Executive Director, Consumer and Commercial Banking North at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)

Job Summary

The role will be responsible for the formulation and execution of the Bank’s strategy for the North Directorate in line with the business objectives agreed by the Board.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the strategic direction, management, growth and profitability of the bank’s Consumer and Commercial banking units.
• Manage the largest and most complex business relationships.
• Hire, maintain, motivate, develop, and recognize competent staff to meet the bank’s current and future objectives related to business banking.
• Develop and implement business plans focused on targeted segment of the bank’s business community.

Required Experience and Capabilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Social sciences or Humanities, or HND with an MBA or Master's degree.
• Relevant professional qualifications (ACIB, CFA, CIS, ACA, etc).
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ cognate experience in the financial services sector.
• Relevant experience driving the growth of new relationships with clients and strategic partners in the industry.
• Exceptional professional knowledge of the systems and procedures which underlay the Banking budgeting and financial information systems.
• Sound knowledge of local operating environment and business transaction dynamics including relevant regulations i.e., National Budget, Foreign Exchange & Monetary Policy Guidelines, etc.
