    Chief Operations Officer

    Atuspay is a fast-growing fintech company providing innovative digital financial solutions across Africa. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operations Officer (COO) to oversee daily operations, ensure operational efficiency, and support the company’s growth objectives.

    The COO will be responsible for managing core operational functions, improving internal processes, ensuring service excellence, and working closely with executive leadership to drive performance, compliance, and scalability.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operations & Strategy

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization.
    • Translate business strategies into operational plans and execution.
    • Ensure smooth coordination across customer support, compliance, and operations.
    • Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

    Process & Performance Management

    • Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
    • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are met.
    • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

    Team & Resource Management

    • Supervise operations, support, and field teams.
    • Ensure effective staffing, training, and performance management.
    • Promote accountability and high performance across departments.

    Compliance & Risk Oversight

    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
    • Work with compliance and risk teams to maintain operational integrity.
    • Support audits, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

    Customer Experience & Service Delivery

    • Oversee customer service operations and issue resolution.
    • Improve service turnaround time and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure seamless operational support for digital banking services.
