Electrician/Maintenance Officer at Petrogap Oil and Gas Limited

Job Description

• We seek a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team.
• The successful candidate will maintain, repair, and install electrical systems in the building, ensuring all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in the premises 
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair lighting, power distribution, and other electrical systems.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the facility management team to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Document and maintain records of all electrical maintenance activities.
• Assist with energy efficiency projects and recommendations for company properties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an electrician or maintenance officer.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues 
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
