Duty Coordinator at EKO Hotels & Suites

Job Summary:

• As a Duty Coordinator, you will manage daily maintenance tasks, assigns issues, and ensures timely resolution while maintaining records and coordinating with departments. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assign unresolved or new maintenance issues in the FX System daily.
• Monitor and update issue status throughout the shift.
• Ensure emergency and high-priority requests are addressed immediately.
• Print, assign, and track out-of-order/service rooms for prompt resolution.
• Coordinate with section supervisors to restore rooms to operational status.
• Inspect reported issues when necessary before assigning for resolution.
• Provide daily updates on outstanding and resolved maintenance cases.
• Send an end-of-shift report to the Guest Service Center with room status updates and feedback.
• Perform regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, reporting any issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related operation.
• Minimum of National Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred)
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of hotel maintenance operations (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Familiarity with FX System and maintenance tracking.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations and preventive maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hotel maintenance or facility management.
• Knowledge of hotel operations (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices
• Knowledge of sustainability and environmental management
• Health & safety awareness and preventive maintenance knowledge.
