Job Purpose

The DJ is responsible for music broadcast on the station. S/he serves as a DJ for the station for various programming shows, ensuring the best and latest songs are played and the sounds are accurate with good audio quality.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure that commercials, interviews (or live appearance), hypes and commentary are delivered on time, per schedule set by management.
•  Ensures that your show/program runs smoothly
•  Hold Radio contests when the need arises
• Take song requests
• Ensure music played complies strictly with NBC’s code of conduct
•  Ensure all music played are in line with the sound of the station
•  As designated, attend the station’s sponsored parties and live events as the official DJ of the event
• Forwards postmortems to Programs Manager after each show
