    Communications Manager

    Job Summary

    • Own the brand story. Turn company updates, campaigns, and wins into clear, engaging stories for both internal teams and LinkedIn.
    • Manage and grow our LinkedIn presence with consistent, relatable content.
    • Create and edit content for LinkedIn and internal communications, including posts, emails, presentations, and updates.

    Requirements

    Head of Revenue Growth

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking Heads of Revenue Growth - highly accomplished sales leaders who will be responsible for driving revenue expansion, strengthening our market presence and cultivating long-term client partnerships within the marketing, media and advertising landscape.
    • The ideal candidates will bring a strategic leadership, self-drive and entrepreneurial mindset, along with a proven track record of combining sales leadership with marketing innovation to deliver measurable business impacts.
    • The Head of Revenue Growth will report directly to the Director of Sales and will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities to sell our digital marketing services portfolio and defining strategies to expand company revenue.
    • You will lead and guide the creation of customized and innovative solutions to meet clients’ specific goals and needs.

    Key Responsibilities
    Business Development & Strategy:

    • Identify and capitalize on high-value business opportunities while developing strategic approaches to pitch innovative media and digital solutions.
    • Develop tailored proposals using data-driven insights to align offerings with client objectives.
    • Develop and implement a business development strategic plan.
    • Achieve a monthly sales gross profit target.
    • Analyzing prospective clients’ digital footprint to develop digital & content strategies for their businesses.
    • Conduct pitches and presentations to persuade potential customers that Pulse is the preferred partner to meet their corporate goals.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Establish and maintain senior-level client relationships to build long-term partnerships.
    • Maintain continuous engagement with clients, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Drive relationships with decision-makers at tier-1 companies across Nigeria.
    • Work with the Account Management team to ensure services sold are delivered to clients to maximize client retention.

    Sales Execution & Revenue Growth:

    • Follow a structured sales process to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
    • Pitch and close deals for customized digital and media solutions that meet business goals.

    Collaboration & Project Delivery:

    • Work closely with internal project and account management teams to ensure seamless execution.
    • Ensure smooth communication across departments, focusing on integrated account management.

    Brand Competitiveness & Market Presence:

    • Lead initiatives to strengthen Pulse’s brand positioning in the digital and media ecosystem.
    • Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and best practices within Nigeria and across Africa.
    • Represent Pulse at events and network and build relationships with potential clients and partners.

    Industry Awareness & Innovation:

    • Stay ahead of digital and media industry trends, tools and sales techniques.
    • Integrate marketing strategies into sales efforts to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Develop Pulse content campaigns & product offerings to grow revenues.
    • Stay up to date of the latest trends, industry issues and solutions, to help ensure that Pulse is always innovating with great client solutions.

    Team Lead Responsibilities:

    • Perform weekly checks of the team’s inputs into the CRM to ensure full visibility into the sales pipeline.
    • Review proposals developed by members of the team.
    • Manage team learning sessions and enable knowledge sharing on an ongoing basis with the Sales teams internationally.
    • Manage the onboarding and training of new team members.
    • Lend support and direction to help team members realize their full potential.
    • Ensure that the defined sales process is followed at all times.
    • Communicate effectively to all team members and maintain strong, trusting relationships with all internal collaborators.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years of proven success in senior sales leadership or business development roles, ideally within Digital Media, Creative, Marketing, SaaS or Advertising industries.
    • Strong expertise in digital marketing and ability to integrate marketing strategies into sales growth.
    • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed financial sales targets.
    • Proven track record in developing revenue growth strategies and successfully executing them.
    • Experience in budget preparation, forecasting and financial reporting to guide sales decisions.
    • Ability to analyze sales performance data and ROI to optimize business outcomes.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho CRM desirable).
    • Excellent networking, negotiation and relationship-building skills with key clients.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • Exceptional communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • A strong portfolio of previous sales-led or marketing-driven projects demonstrating measurable business impact.
