Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Manager in Finance to support the financial management and strategic decision-making of our organization.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, as well as ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing financial plans and budgets that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to inform management decisions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular financial reports, including management accounts, variance analyses, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and policies, including those set by regulatory bodies.
• Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure effective financial management and reporting.
• Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff as needed.

Requirements

• B.Sc in Accountancy, Finance or any related discipline.
• Must be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, preferably in a managerial or senior role.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with financial software and systems.
