Delivery Attendant at Aggregon Foods Nigeria Limited

Position Summary

• The Delivery Attendant is responsible for managing all delivery orders from receipt to dispatch, ensuring speed, accuracy, and quality service.
• They also support in-house operations when needed, maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all delivery devices (POS, tablets, apps) are charged, connected to the internet, and ready for use.
• Ensure delivery bags and containers are clean, insulated, and in good condition.
• Recieve and confirm proof of payment via WhatsApp for website orders, package the order after payment confirmation, and dispatch immediately.
• Update availability of items on all delivery platforms to avoid wrong orders.
• Label orders clearly with customer names and order numbers to prevent mix-ups.
• Double-check all orders for completeness, accuracy, and presentation before dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packaging and delivery area at all times.
• Provide riders with customer addresses, directions, and special instructions when necessary.
• Respond to delivery-related inquiries from customers promptly and politely.
• Forward any complaints or feedback to the superiors immediately.
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when dealing with customers and riders.
• Assist waitresses during peak hours when there are many walk-in customers.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-food, restaurant, or delivery service role.
• Experience with delivery platforms such as Chowdeck, Glovo, Jumia Food, or Bolt Food is preferred.
