    Customer Service Representative (Collections & Recovery)- Ikeja

    We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (Collections & Recovery) to manage overdue accounts, negotiate repayment plans, and provide excellent service to clients. The ideal candidate will be skilled at balancing empathy with assertiveness, ensuring customers meet their obligations while maintaining positive relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contact customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on overdue accounts.
    • Negotiate repayment plans and ensure timely recovery of outstanding balances.
    • Maintain accurate and updated records of customer interactions, agreements, and payment status.
    • Educate customers on payment options and consequences of default.
    • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the Collections Supervisor/Manager as required.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and debt recovery guidelines.
    • Provide excellent customer service to maintain goodwill while achieving recovery targets.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
    • Proven experience in customer service, collections, or debt recovery is an advantage.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
    • High level of professionalism, empathy, and integrity.

    • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills.
    • Ability to remain calm and courteous when dealing with difficult customers.
    • Target-driven with a focus on results.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
