    Corporate Communications Specialist

    Role Overview: 

    • As the Corporate Communications Manager for BetKing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's internal and external communication strategies.
    • You will oversee the company's communication efforts, both online and offline, to ensure that they are aligned with the company's objectives and brand values.
    • Your focus will be on managing the communication between the company, its employees, stakeholders, and the public.
    • A successful candidate will have a strong background in media relations, employee relations and engagement, storytelling, brand building, marketing execution, leadership and management, and quantitative orientation. 

    What You Will Be Doing:  

    Internal Communications Activities 

    • Establishes an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers. 
    • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to internal and external stakeholders. 
    • Plan, edit and write content for various internal communications mediums, such as newsletters or regular email bulletins.  
    • Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team of art directors and designers. 
    • Use channels to communicate with staff internally. 
    • Deliver presentations at organizational events, such as your company’s town halls. 
    • Draft messages or scripts for senior executives to present to employees in written or spoken form. 
    • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different organization departments. 
    • Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages. 
    • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly. 
    • Advise senior executives of organizational developments through face-to-face or regular written communication. 

     PR and External Communications Activities 

    • Manages the organization’s Public and Media relations. 
    • Plans and coordinates all PR events, i.e., Press launches, Media parleys etc. 
    • Manages relations with PR agency ensuring campaign deliverables and expectations are met.  
    • Develops and implements policies and procedures for communicating on behalf of the organization that represents the corporate identity and promotes and supports the organization’s mission. 
    • Checks and manages content produced for websites, blogs, and owned & paid social media channels. 
    • Develops marketing communications plans, including PR strategy, goals, budget, and tactics. 
    • Creates content for Press Releases, feature articles, and thought leadership articles.
    • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, Media partners, and Journalists. 
    • Drafts proposals and PR plans for projects; present and promotes these projects to Leadership Team. 
    • Seeks new methods and creative strategies to increase external awareness of key events and changes in the organization, including the launch of new products, special events, local and global community service, and other topics of interest. 

     Employee Engagement: 

    • Develop and implement employee engagement programs that foster a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction. 
    • Organize employee events and activities that promote team building and employee morale in partnership with the HR department. 
    • Work closely with HR to ensure that communication with employees is consistent, accurate, and timely. 

     Stakeholder Management: 

    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry associations. 
    • Monitor and analyze industry trends and developments to inform the company's communication strategies and messaging. 
    • Work closely with the Legal department to ensure that the company's communication is compliant with all relevant regulations and laws. 

    What You Need for This Role:  

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. 
    • At least 6 years of experience in Corporate Communications, with a focus on internal communications, employee engagement, and public relations. 
    • Strong experience driving PR and Corporate communications strategies and programs to deliver strong brand equity and positioning impact.  
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering on excellently on metrics such as earned mentions, Advertising value equivalency, Crisis Management, Employee engagement web traffic, and  leads. 
    • Experience managing a budget and making trade-off decisions between corporate communication initiatives and programs, based on quantitative analysis and perception outcomes. 
    • A collaborative approach to working with senior stakeholders with a variety of reasoned views and expectations 
    • Ability to leverage a professional network to achieve business objectives and grow the team as the business matures 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Strong organizational and project management skills. 
    • Experience working in the sports and digital entertainment industry is an advantage. 
    • Understanding of the real money gaming ecosystem and a view toward how to drive campaigns and initiatives that improves the perception of the brand. 
    • Strong writing and editing skills and a view around coherent visual identity 
    • Worked in company cultures that bring together smart, talented people from diverse backgrounds that enjoy a collaborative and innovative environment that supports flexible and agile working. 
    • Have experience in a startup or as an entrepreneur.
