We are offering six (6) month fellowship opportunity in Nigeria for individuals passionate about communications and impact. The Corporate Communications Fellow will craft compelling narratives that strengthen Dev-Afrique’s brand, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support strategic initiatives. The role involves managing internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create engaging content for various communication channels.
Support external communication, including press releases, media relations, and crisis communication.
Create and curate content for the organization’s website, social media platforms, and other communication channels.
Support in organizing and coordinating global and regional events, conferences, and webinars to promote Dev-Afrique and its partners’ initiatives.
Provide communication support for internal initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with Dev-Afrique’s goals.
Prepare reports on communication activities and their impact on the organization’s objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
Minimum three years of experience in corporate communications, Public Relations or related roles.
Exceptional writing and editing skills and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of media relations and stakeholder engagement.
Familiarity with development sector and social impact initiatives is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
