    Content & Community Manager

    Key Responsibility

    Social Media Strategy & Content Management

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing objectives.
    • Ensure consistent brand voice, aesthetics, and messaging across all platforms.
    • Research industry trends and competitor strategies to stay ahead.
    • Build an email newsletter and grow the subscriber community
    • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align social efforts with business priorities.
    • Branding & Messaging Consistency
    • Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, visual identity, and messaging across all content and community interactions.
    • Ensure content is aligned with the company’s positioning — reinforcing values such as empowerment, inclusivity, growth, career success, professional development.
    • Uphold content and community guidelines, ensuring respectful, safe, inclusive, and professional interaction at all times.

    Content Strategy & Management

    • Create and maintain a content calendar that integrates marketing campaigns, seasonal trends, and business goals.
    • Identify key content themes, formats, and distribution channels for each stage of the customer journey.
    • Develop, curate, and manage compelling content across platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Whatsapp and Slack).
    • Develop a full-funnel content strategy (awareness → acquisition → activation → referral).
    • Ensure content aligns with SEO, email marketing, and paid campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality, on-brand marketing materials.
    • Craft engaging copy tailored to our brand voice and style.

    Content Creation & Creative Design

    • Design creatives — create graphics, short-form videos, memes, reels, stories, and carousels in line with the brand identity and visual guidelines. Use design and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Photoshop (or equivalents) to produce polished, on-brand visual content.
    • Write compelling copy — craft captions, hooks, and clear CTAs tailored to each platform (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok), ensuring every post connects with the audience and drives the intended action (engagement, click-through, sign-up, share, etc.).
    • Video editing — edit both short-form (reels, stories, TikTok videos) and long-form (webinars, tutorials, interviews) video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, etc. Ensure high production quality, appropriate pacing, and clear messaging.
    • Maintain content quality and consistency — ensure that all content published is of high quality, engaging, platform-appropriate, consistent with brand voice and visual identity, and aligns with our content calendar and strategic goals.

    Channels Management

    • Handle daily posting on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube.
    • Adapt content format and tone for each platform’s audience.
    • Monitor platform algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Schedule posts using tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer.

    Brand Awareness & Visibility

    • Grow the company’s social media presence and follower base.
    • Increase brand recognition through consistent, high-quality content.
    • Leverage trends, hashtags, and collaborations to boost visibility.
    • Ensure brand messaging is clear and memorable.

    Lead Generation & Qualification

    • Develop targeted lead magnets, gated content, and SEO-driven landing pages to capture top-of-funnel users.
    • Collaborate with Social Media & Sales teams to implement MQL → SQL → Opportunity handoff processes with clear success criteria.
    • Use data enrichment tools to qualify leads in real-time.
    • Build and manage multi-step nurture sequences (email/SMS) tailored by lead score, behavior, and segment.
    • Track lead velocity rate, conversion time, and pipeline coverage
    • Conduct high-volume outbound calls (cold/warm) to potential clients using provided lead lists or self-generated leads.
    • Utilize email, LinkedIn, SMS, and social media to engage prospects and schedule appointments.
    • Follow scripted and non-scripted pitches to introduce the company’s products/services.
    • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and SMS to prospective clients using provided leads or cold outreach.
    • Manage and operationalize acquisition channels that are working, including SEO and content marketing

    Community Management & Engagements

    • Organize and coordinate activities like Webinars, AMAs (Ask me anything), Engagement Activities and Initiatives etc.
    • Build and nurture an active, engaged community of learners, professionals, mentors, and stakeholders across social media, forums, and communication channels.
    • Monitor community discussions, respond to comments/messages promptly and professionally, encourage discussions, celebrate successes, collect feedback and insights.
    • Develop and implement community engagement strategies (e.g., AMAs, webinars, live Q&A, polls, and Q&A sessions , challenges, testimonials, user-generated content campaigns) that foster connection, trust, and brand loyalty.
    • Facilitate onboarding of new community members, guide them on how to get value from the platform, and encourage participation — e.g., by highlighting success stories, encouraging peer support, and showcasing outcomes.
    • Work closely with internal teams (product, marketing, support) to surface community feedback, identify trends, pain points, and opportunities to improve content, features, or services.
    • Moderate online communities to maintain a positive brand image.
    • Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and mentions in a timely manner.

    Community Management Experience

    • Host and Manage Live Experiences: Plan, coordinate, and facilitate high-quality webinars, workshops, AMAs, and live Q&A sessions. Ensure smooth execution through proper briefing, technical checks, event moderation, and post-event follow-ups to maximize participation and value.
    • Design and Run Community Programs: Build and manage community challenges, learning sprints, themed discussions, accountability groups, cohort-based programs, and multi-week learning experiences. Set goals, onboard participants, provide structured guidance, and track progress to ensure meaningful outcomes.
    • Drive Community Growth & Onboarding: Implement onboarding workflows that welcome new members, introduce them to key resources, and accelerate engagement. Set up automated welcome sequences, starter conversations, and orientation content to nurture early participation.
    • Spark Daily Engagement: Initiate meaningful discussions, create conversation prompts, respond thoughtfully to questions, and maintain continuous community interaction across platforms like Slack, Discord, Facebook Groups, WhatsApp, and in-platform communities.
    • Collaborate with Internal & External Stakeholders: Partner with guest speakers, mentors, product teams, marketing, and leadership to deliver high-value content, facilitate programs, and gather insights that improve the member experience.
    • Celebrate & Recognize Members: Highlight top contributors, create recognition systems (badges, certificates, shoutouts), reward engagement, and showcase community success stories to build loyalty and strengthen culture.
    • Support Content & Campaign Execution: Align community content with broader marketing initiatives, launch campaigns inside the community, collect user-generated content (UGC), and drive participation in platform-wide activities, challenges, or product launches.

    Platform-Specific Campaign Execution

    • Meta (Facebook & Instagram Ads): Launch high-converting creative sets (image, video, carousel) for top-of-funnel reach and retargeting.
    • Google Ads: Manage search, display, and performance max campaigns to capture intent-driven traffic.
    • LinkedIn Ads: Target B2B personas with sponsored content, InMail, and lead gen forms.
    • YouTube Ads: Run pre-roll and in-stream ads to build brand recall and push mid-funnel conversion.
    • TikTok Ads: Leverage trending, UGC-style content to engage Gen Z/Millennial audiences.
    • Reddit/Quora/X Ads: Test niche channels for contextual relevance and audience depth.
    • Whatsapp Ads: Launch high-converting whatsapp creatives

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience (e.g., 2–5 years) managing content creation and community engagement for a brand, startup, or online platform, especially on social media and digital forums.
    • Strong design and creative skills — proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or similar tools. Comfortable designing graphics, editing video, and creating social media assets.
    • Excellent copywriting skills — ability to write catchy hooks, captions, CTAs tailored for different platforms and audiences.
    • Experience editing both short-form and long-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube.
    • Solid understanding of content strategy, social media dynamics, community building, and audience engagement.
    • Data-driven mindset — able to track performance metrics, derive actionable insights, and iterate content/community strategies accordingly.
    • Experience in education, edtech, career services, or professional development sectors.
