Consultant Anaesthetist at Kelina Hospital

LOCATION

Lagos: 7, Ologun Agbaje Street, off Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island.

To be eligible, candidate must:

1. Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), National Postgraduate Medical College (FMCA), or other recognized equivalent qualification in Anaesthesia.
2. Full registration and current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
3. Proven clinical experience as a Consultant Anaesthetist, with competence in a wide range of anaesthetic techniques and procedures.
4. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team coordination skills in the theatre and critical care environment.
5. Candidates must be resident in Abuja

Job Description

1. Provide comprehensive anaesthetic care for patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.
2. Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluation and assessment of patients, ensuring appropriate preparation and risk management.
3. Administer and monitor anaesthesia during surgery, managing patients’ physiological parameters and responding to intra-operative events.
4. Oversee post-anaesthetic recovery and pain management, ensuring smooth transition to postoperative care.

Remuneration: Average, 21Mper annum, plus or minus, depending on experience
